Advantages of bag filter:
1. High dust removal efficiency, it can capture fine dust with particle size larger than 0.3 microns, and the dust removal efficiency can reach more than 99%.
2. Flexible use, the air volume can be from hundreds of cubic meters per hour to hundreds of thousands of cubic meters per hour. It can be used as a small unit directly installed in the room, near the machine tool, or as a large dust removal room, that is, a "bag room".
3. The structure is relatively simple, the operation is relatively stable, the initial investment is less (compared with the electrostatic precipitator), and the maintenance is convenient. Therefore, the bag filter is widely used to eliminate dust pollution, improve the environment, and recycle materials.
4. Dust disposal is easy. The bag filter is a dry purification equipment that does not require water, so there is no problem of sewage treatment or mud treatment, and the collected dust is easy to recycle.
(1) The dust removal efficiency is high, generally above 99%, and the dust concentration in the outlet gas of the dust collector is within tens of mg/m3, which has a high classification efficiency for fine dust with sub-micron particle size.

Disadvantages of bag filter:

2. Some types of bag filter workers have poor working conditions. When checking and replacing filter bags, they need to enter the box.
3. The ability to withstand temperature has a certain limit. Cotton and wool filter materials have a temperature resistance of 80-95 degrees, synthetic fiber filter materials have a temperature resistance of 200-260 degrees, and glass fiber filter materials have a temperature resistance of 280 degrees. The purification temperature is higher. When the flue gas is high, measures must be taken to reduce the temperature of the flue gas.
When the temperature is particularly high, it will not work when it exceeds 350 degrees, because the filter bag will burn through if it can't bear it. There is also a situation where the filter bag is blocked when dealing with wet and oily dust.
