How to choose dust filter bag according to air volume

If there is a bag filter before, choose a larger or smaller bag filter according to the treatment effect. Then there is the wind speed, which should be selected according to the materials filtered by the bag filter. Generally, those with a high specific gravity, such as casting, steel grinding, etc., have a heavier dust density, which can be 1.4-1.7m/min wind speed, which is lighter than chemical materials. Yes, choose a lower wind speed so that the filter area can be calculated. The air volume and pressure of the bag filter are generally matched with the fan behind the bag filter.


The calculation of the air volume of the bag filter of the copper melting furnace can be estimated according to the average wind speed in the hood or the hood, or calculated by the heat source radiation, which is more complicated and is generally estimated by experience in practice. Take an intermediate frequency furnace with a diameter of 800 as an example. If a semi-enclosed mobile hood is used, the wind speed in the hood can generally be set to 1M to 1.5M, and the air volume of the single furnace of the bag filter can be about 5000. At the same time, depending on the process, the air leakage of the system must be considered. The core of dust removal in copper furnace lies in several points: the air volume calculation of the bag filter must be accurate, and the temperature of sparks and flue gas must be handled appropriately. There is also a bag filter to prevent sticking bags.


When selecting the dust filter bag  according to the air volume of the bag filter, it is generally not allowed to run the bag filter with the air volume exceeding the specified air volume, otherwise the dust bag will be easily blocked, the service life will be shortened, the pressure loss will be greatly increased, and the dust collection efficiency of the bag filter will also be reduced; but The air volume of the bag filter can not be selected too large, otherwise the equipment investment and floor space of the bag filter will be increased, and the real energy saving and environmental protection will not be achieved. Reasonable selection of the air volume of the bag filter is often based on the process conditions and precise calculations.
