"Fume" is a mixture of smoke and soot, and is the main cause of air pollution. The flue gas includes water vapor, SO2, N2, O2, carbon monoxide, CO2, hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides. Fume includes fuel ash, coal particles, oil droplets and pyrolysis products. Therefore, the pollution of flue gas to the environment is a compound pollution of multiple poisons. The harm of smoke and dust to the human body is related to the particle size. Most of the hazards to the human body are the floating dust with a diameter of less than 10 microns, especially the floating dust with a diameter of 1-2.5 microns.

Let's take a look at the effect of smoke on the dust filter bag.

  (1) The flue gas temperature is high. The bag filter is mainly used for dust removal of flue gas in industrial boilers, fluidized bed boilers, kilns and coal-fired power station boilers. The temperature of this kind of flue gas is usually relatively high, and the temperature of the flue gas when it enters the dust collector is generally about 100 ℃ ~ 300 ℃. Therefore, the performance of ordinary chemical fiber will be affected at this temperature, so the filter material of the bag filter is a high temperature resistant fiber material.

  (2) Acidic flue gas corrosion. When burning high-sulfur coal or flue gas without desulfurization treatment, the concentration of sulfur oxides and nitrogen oxides will be very high. Except for the filter bag of the FT filter material, other chemical synthetic fiber materials will be corroded and damaged, thus shortening the filter bag Life.

   (3) Oxidation of flue gas. The flue gas has a certain oxidation effect on the dust bag. Because the oxygen in the air accounts for 21%, and the temperature of the flue gas is very high, the dust bag will be greatly affected during work. If you want to avoid this situation, you should choose some dust bags with anti-oxidation filter materials, such as P84 polyimide, PPS, PTFE dust bags.

  (4) Moisture in flue gas. During high temperature operation, when the moisture content of the dust in the flue gas exceeds 25%, the dust is easy to stick to the cloth bag and block the cloth bag. If the hydrolysis resistance of the material is not high, hydrolysis will also damage the filter material.
