Dust filter bag membrane covering process is based on ordinary Needle felt as the base fabric, covering the surface with a membrane which has a special feature to make it more precise at filtering. It can make the dust filter bag work more efficiently, with a longer service life.

If the dust filter bag is membrane covered, it can show the following advantages:

1. Effectively filter the dust. In general, industrial bags work in the way of deep filtration, effectively filter by forming a primary dust layer on the surface of the filter bag. However, it takes a long time to form an effective filtration, which is about 10% of the entire filtration process. The resistance is relatively large and the efficiency is low. Dust trapping is incomplete, and the pressure during filtration and back blowing is also relatively high. Dust cleaning is frequent, but the service life of the filter bag is not long. However, if we use the membrane covered dust filter bag material, it can achieve surface filtration, whether it is coarse or fine dust. The dust is deposited on the surface of the filter material. It only rely on the pore size of membrane to intercept the dust. There is no initial filtration period, and it is effective filtration since the initiation. Nearly one hundred percent of the time it is in the filtering process.

2. Low pressure, high flux work continuously. Once the traditional deep-filtering filter material is put into use, the dust penetrates, establishes a primary dust layer, the permeability of the filter material will drop rapidly. During filtration, dust accumulates on the inside and causes obstruction, which increases the resistance of the dust-removal equipment. The membrane filter material has fine pore size and its lower viscosity, which makes the dust penetration rate is close to zero. When it is put into use, it provides good filtration efficiency. When the deposited dust on the surface of the membrane filter material reaches a certain thickness, it will automatically fall off, so that the filter bag pressure is always kept at a very low level, the air flow is always maintained at a high level, it can work continuously.

3. Easy to remove dust. The operating pressure loss of any filter material directly depends on the amount of dust remaining on/under the surface of the filter material after cleaning. The dust-removal time of the membrane covered dust-removal filter bag is short, and it has very good dust-removing characteristics. Each time the dust can be completely removed from the layer, so that it would not cause obstruction inside of the filter material, would not change the porosity and mass density, and can be maintained constantly working on low pressure loss.

4. Long service life of filter bags. No matter what dust-removal mechanism is adopted by the membrane filter material, it can exert its superior characteristics. Membrane filter is a kind of filter material that can fully exert the function of filter design. Membrane filter material has a strong and flexible fiber structure that is composited with a strong substrate. Therefore, there is sufficient mechanical strength, combined with excellent dedusting characteristic, to reduce the strength of dust removal, can be used for a long time under low and stable pressure loss. Thus the service life of the filter bag can be relatively extended.
